Fincher left dazzled by the Swedish snow in the new Millennium
Tammikuun 12. 2012 - miroslavyanFollowing the success of “The Social Network”, much was expected following the work of David Fincher. And this new version does not disappoint the success of Stieg Larsson, a past history of the hue of the spectacle, in which the director is seduced by the Swedish snow.
The tremendous success of Larsson’s Millennium trilogy, more than 60 million books sold, could not pass unnoticed by Hollywood. And although there was already a notable Swedish adaptation, Fincher has been launched to increase the spectacle of a story in which, however, do not risk as in previous work.
“Zodiac” (2007), “The curious case of Benjamin Button” (2009) and “The Social Network” (2010) demonstrated a very personal conception of cinema that this time is not as present.
Fincher has cared more aesthetic aspects of the film-a little exaggerated his way to emphasize the cold in Sweden, and the performances-especially Rooney Mara, the better the deal, as it was Noomi Rapace in the Swedish version-leaving a little side power and rhythm of the images.
Something that would go unnoticed if the director was not Fincher and if not be expected to knock the viewer with a rapid pulse as tenacious as characteristic of his earlier films.
In this first film in the trilogy Larsson, has had to eliminate much of the original book in order to win in spectacular. Many characters disappear or are just outlined, which makes the story lose in depth.
In return, the voltage is maintained from beginning to end, and Daniel Craig-intellectual and plan on trying to zoom 007 - and Rooney Mara plays a great pair of protagonists.
Very well complemented by Christopher Plummer whose presence falls short of “The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo”. As with Stellan Skarsgard, Robin Wright and Joely Richardson.

And besides all this, the film features a brutal start, classic, first, not being the beginning of the story, and striking and modern, the other with ambiguous futuristic aesthetic that contrasts with the structure almost linear history.
An opening highlighted by excellent music of Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross who opt for a Golden Globe on Sunday.
“The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo” opens tomorrow in Spain and Latin America will next week.
